There isn’t much to say about this past week, it’s been out of control. One bad choice food wise after another, also only worked out once. My dog is down 1.7 lbs of the 10 that the vet wants him to lose, I’m pretty sure I’m up 25 with the way that I feel…at least one of us is a loser? I know I’m not up 25, but I can tell by the way I feel that I am up a bit. A solid week of eating healthy should get me back on the right path. So that is all I’ll say about last week. Moving on.
I’ll be restarting the EA Sports 6 week challenge tonight. I will restart it every week if I have to. But I will get that 6 week challenge completed. I packed my breakfast last night, but didn’t get around to packing my lunch until this morning. I need to work on packing my lunch as I make dinner. Waiting until bedtime isn’t working out very well. I fall asleep on the sofa watching a show, and then have to feed the dog and take him out. Adding packing my lunch into that mix when I’m already half asleep just doesn’t work out very well.
Tonight Fireman is heading down to visit the kids, so I’m going to working on cleaning the house up a bit since my Mom is heading to town this weekend. First though will be a solid walk with the dog and then workout #1 on EA Sports. I’ve done something to my shoulder. It’s been sore for a few months now and these past two weeks its gotten progressively worse. I’m hoping that some of the weight work with the weight bands will help to build some muscle in my arms which will help the should tremendously. If it still isn’t feeling better in the next week or so, I’ll make an appointment with the Orthopedist.
I have so many blogs to get caught up on. Ya’ll provide so much wonderful motivation for me, and I cant thank you enough.
I’m really looking forward to this week being a good one. I’m going to have to make myself focus on tiny steps, making each meal healthy and making sure that I move. Screw one day at a time, it’s one bite at a time this week.
Tata for now,
Scale Warfare
There will be a food journal tomorrow!
AMEN to taking it one bite at a time. Sometimes that’s all we can do – one step, one minute at a time. I KNOW you can do this – you’ve done it before. So do what you can in THIS minute to live healthy, and then do it again, and again…
Hang in there!
One bite at a time is exactly how I’d do it, too.
I think preparing your breakfast & lunch at dinner time is a great idea. That’s what I’ve been doing. If something is in the oven and I’m waiting for it to cook, I get the 2 meals together, since I’m already in the kitchen. Otherwise, I make sure I do it after dinner, as I’m cleaning up. It works so much better than waiting until bedtime.
Good luck! I know you can do it.
