Week 10 Weigh In #WLS

Week 10 post op was pretty good.  This week was the first time that I ran into any real temptations thus far, and those temptations are ones we are probably all facing right now…Halloween Candy.  I did really well, I did have a kit-kat snack size or three, but never more than one in a day.  It’s not at all that I’m not allowed to have those sorts of things, but it does feel like they could lead down a very slippery slope.  As much as I do have built in portion control thanks to Sleevie McGavin, I do have to make smart choices through out the day.

Onto the Weigh In Portion…

  • Pre-Op 2 Week Liquid’ish Diet -12.8 lbs
  • Week 1 Post Op -8.6
  • Week 2 Post Op -6.2
  • Week 3 Post Op -2.2
  • Week 4 Post Op -3.8
  • Week 5 Post Op -3.6
  • Week 6 Post Op – No Weigh In (NWI) On vacation!
  • Week 7 Post Op – 6.4
  • Week 8 Post Op -2.4
  • Week 9 Post Op -4.2
  • Week 10 Post Op -3.0
  • Total: -53.4 lbs

I’m 1.7 lbs away from being in an entirely new decade!  That is my first goal for next week, to see that new weight decade.  My clothes are fitting better than ever.  Well, ok, most of them are WAY too big and I’ve donated them or gifted them away.  But I did find an entire section of my closet that I didnt even realize was there, full of clothes in smaller sizes.  Some of them I had to get rid of because they were a bit out dated (I could last wear them in 2002/2003ish), but I did find enough to get me through hopefully the holidays and the house closing.  I really dont want to have to fork over money for clothes before we get into the new house.

My goal last week:

My goal for week 10 is to get in EVERY supplement and hit 75 grams of protein a day.

The Reality:

With the exception of one day (Sunday), I hit or exceeded my protein goal every day.  My supplements (vitamins, fiber, calcium) well I didn’t do so great, but I did way better than week 9!  There were three days where I didnt get in my second dose of calcium and my second dose of multi-vitamins, besides that I got them all in though.

My goals this week (11):

  • Hit the new weight decade.
  • Get in ALL of my supplements.
  • Get in ALL of my water, even on the weekend.
