Technically I was supposed to start updating you last week on my 6 month to 100lbs challenge, but well, moving and life got in the way. Since I really didnt do anything to move myself forward towards the 100lbs mark, I am going to consider this week 1.

How am I doing this week? I got started on Monday the 28th, and so far so good!
Step 1: Keep doing what I’m doing now.
- 600-800 calories per day. DONE
- <40 grams of carbs per day. DONE
- >10 grams of fiber per day. Meh-Doing OK on, but not 100%
- >80 grams of protein average per day. DONE
- Walking the dog 30 minutes a day. DONE
Step 2: Amp up the work outs.
- Get up at 4:50-5AM to work out. DONE (M, T, W, so far this week)
- M, W, F: 30 minutes on the treadmill. I will work up to 45 minutes. See Below.
- Once I’m down to a 15 minute mile, I will start C25K, doing each week twice. Well this happened fast. I started C25K on Monday 11/28.
- Kettle Bells or Work Out DVD on T, Th. DONE (T so far)
- Weekends, either Saturday or Sunday walk >3 miles. TBD, but on the schedule.
Step 3: Update You
- Every Wednesday I will do an additional weekly weigh-in update, to include information about my workouts for the week and how close I am to getting to the 100 pound mark. DONE. 36 lbs and 13 Weeks to go!
I am on track so far. I will need to lose 3 lbs per week on average to reach my goal.
