40 by 40

My list of 40 things that I want to accomplish by the time I turn 40…Only 8 more years, time to get moving!

  1. Buy a house Completed 11/18/2011
  2. Go to Vegas-Scheduled for Summer 2012
  3. Have a baby
  4. Debt Free (w/ exception to mortgage)
  5. Go to Europe (Ireland, France, Belgium in particular)
  6. Shop in the “Normal Size” section-Scheduled 2012
  7. Renew vows somewhere tropical
  8. Reach a healthy weight-Scheduled 2012
  9. Vacation to Alaska to visit family
  10. Run a 5k -Scheduled for April 14, 2012
  11. Completely furnish new house
  12. Lose 100 pounds – Early 2012??
  13. Get the hubs to Blacksburg (he STILL hasn’t been to visit my Alma Mater!)-Scheduled 2012
  14. Own a bike Completed 12/25/2011
  15. Go camping for a week
  16. Go to Napa
  17. Wear a two piece (bikini if my skin issues aren’t bad)
  18. Wear a skirt and feel public Completed 10/11
  19. Buy a pair of shorts…and wear them in public-Scheduled 2012
  20. Walk a half marathon Schedule June 2012
  21. Buy an outfit from Ann Taylor Loft or maybe Anthropology-Summer 2012??
  22. Go to a black tie event
  23. Have weight loss surgery Completed 8/22
  24. Become scuba certified
  25. Complete a Boot Camp Class
  26. Take a Body Pump Class
  27. Take a yoga class-Scheduled 2012
  28. Learn to Kayak-Scheduled for July 2012
  29. Join an adult rec soccer league
  30. Put together wedding scrap book
  31. Comfortably sit in an airplane seat
  32. Take a spin class-Scheduled 2012
  33. Go Jet Skiing
  34. Play 9 holes of golf-Scheduled for July 2012
  35. Buy a pretty bra from VS
  36. Go snowboarding
  37. Make a t-shirt quilt
  38. See a Broadway Show
  39. Have a vegetable garden (that produces)
  40. Take a photography class-Scheduled March 2012

  1. Hey, I found your website through following you on twitter. What a coincidence that you went to VT and I am a Radford grad. We are approximately the same age as well. What a small world. I have an appointment next week to set up my own WLS. Thanks for your honesty.
